I am in the business of saving lives.

In very short, I work with the development of airborne technologies (RADAR), and also have recently worked with space (satellite) platforms.  What is so gratifying about my job is that I not only help facilitate the security of the United States of America and its people, my efforts on a daily basis benefit those of our allies across the world.  Working in a laboratory, developing proposals for new business, leading special teams, project managing, being the liaison to our government customers, mentoring, and many more positions...I've done them all.  I truly consider myself a multi-disciplined engineer.  What is so fantastic about being in such a large company, is that there are many opportunities to refine skill sets, while concurrently growing and learning new ones.  I've always had (and currently still have) excellent mentors which have significantly helped me cultivate my proficiencies.

Upon receiving my undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, I was offered a job at one of the top aerospace companies in the world.  I've been an engineer at Raytheon now for over 10 years and been very blessed to work with some of the most brilliant people alive today.  Think about it for a moment.  The tactical elements of the B-2 Stealth Bomber.  The payload and infrastructure of a satellite entering orbit.  The system architecture of the newest generation AESA radar platforms.  These are just a few of the teams that I've been on over my career.  I've worked as a System Engineer, Test Engineer, Project/Technical Lead, Cost Account Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, Operations Engineer, and even designed flight level hardware for an R&D (research and development) program.  There are not many places in the world where an individual is fortunate enough to work on such magnificent technologies.

Raytheon has been excellent to me in all areas.

Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP)

(All teams, including mine above, were up all night preparing our project

for presentation to the VP's of Raytheon.  Whatever it takes....)
